Hello good readers (all five of you. so far. 
I finally return.
Just having moved over the East Coast for professional school, I come to you chock full of observation about urbanization, race, politics, and why cooking is just so damn hard. (That last one is me missing my mom’s food. go figure)
Right now I’m in the middle of studying. For the first day (yeah, yeah call me a nerd if you want. But frankly, I’m paying way too much to my school to royally f**(k up). So this will be extremely short. But main points that will be forthcoming in my posts:
-The lack of people of color in professional school who are actually STUDENTS.
-Segregation in the East Coast is both blatant and a little nuts. Honestly, can white and black people ride the same bus?
-Why cooking Indian food on your own is hard as hell
-And finally something positive: how to deal with being in a completely new environment and not going completely apeshit.
